Backtesting Soft

Review by Joey Walls: User Documentation is sparse. It looks promising but is lacking the usability of a mature product. I was able to backtest a simple strategy in less than 15 minutes. But when I went to try to put the strategy I wanted backtested, the documentation let me down. I could not find out how to determine the value of an indicator for "last week" vs "this week". Review by Wesley Oldfathe: When you know what you're doing the program can work good and is better at some task then other. When you do not understand a part of the program then that is when the problem sets in. There software help that is part of the problem is beyond horrible, and their technical support is even worse. They will not give out a phone number anywhere so the only way to contact is via email. I sent out two emails in two weeks and the only email I have got back was one saying they will send it through to their technical support a week ago. If you have plenty of time to figure this thing out on your own then try it otherwise use someone else. (2/5 - 26-May-2006)
